Margaret H. Pierce (Meg)
Weston and Woods Hole, Massachusetts
Meg holds a degree in Biology & Chemistry from Skidmore College and an MBA from Babson. Meg has served on the board of numerous nonprofit organizations including St. Peter’s Church in Weston, Middlesex School, Country Garden Club of Weston, Boston Children’s Services Association, and the Penzance Road Trust. Currently she serves on the board of Old Sturbridge Village and is a docent at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Frederic E. Greenman (Fred)
Wellesley and West Falmouth, MA, Naples, FL
Fred Greenman spent the bulk of his career at New England Electric (now National Grid), from which he retired as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He is a graduate of Amherst College and Columbia Law School. Prior to employment at New England Electric, Fred served as a Massachusetts Assistant Attorney General and Chief of the Health, Education and Welfare Division under Attorney General Elliott Richardson. Since 1984, he has been a Director of Yankee Atomic, Connecticut Yankee and Maine Yankee. After retirement, he has served as Chairman of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Committee on Substance Abuse, Chairman of Penikese Island School, a Director of Gosnold, Inc. and President of the Samuel Huntington Fund.


Treasurer, Finance Committee Chairman

Frederick Hare (Fred)
West Falmouth, MA
Fred holds a bachelors degree from the University of Vermont and a MBA from the University of Massachusetts. He is currently a Director of Finance for the Southcoast Health System (Charlton, St Lukes and Tobey Hospitals) and started his career working in the finance department of Falmouth Hospital.  Fred is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Treasurer of the West Falmouth Boat Club.



Nancy Porter
Falmouth, MA
Nancy is a recent retiree who worked for Verizon for nearly 40 years in a variety of capacities, most recently as a systems analyst supervising teams of staff who managed major business accounts. She is a member of the First Congregational Church in Falmouth where she has served many roles.


Buildings and Grounds Chairman

Ellen Adams
Woods Hole, MA and San Diego, CA
Both Ellen and her husband, Rex, graduated from Duke University where he served as the Dean of the Fuqua School of Business following a career with ExxonMobil that took them all over the world. An avid gardener, Ellen is a past chairman of the Sarah P. Duke Gardens Board of Trustees. She maintains an extensive garden in Woods Hole and preserved a collection of heritage roses at her historic home in North Carolina, Chatwood.

Sandi Abrams
Mashpee, MA
Sandi is a graduate of Skidmore College with a BA in English and holds a Master of Education from Boston State. Leaving a teaching to career to raise her family, Sandi resided in Framingham, MA. Sandi moved to Cape Cod in 1999 and joined Murray & MacDonald Insurance Services, Inc. Recently retired, Sandi remains affiliated with MMISI as a Risk Manager for Private Client Group. Sandi is a member of the House Tour Committee and sits on the BOD of Mashpee Chamber of Commerce.

Ruth Clark
Woods Hole, MA and Palm Beach, FL
Ruth and her husband, James M. Clark, are known throughout the Cape and Boston area for their philanthropy. They are actives supporters of, and involved with, Cape Cod Healthcare, Mass General Hospital, Cornell University, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Ruth, who has served many nonprofit organizations over the years, attended the New York School of Design and ran a travel agency, planning trips throughout the world. Although retired from the Highfield Hall & Gardens Board of Trustees, she remains an Honorary Trustee and continues to be actively involved.

Marilyn A. Fox
Falmouth, MA
Marilyn is the owner of Cape Cod Bagel in Falmouth which she founded in 1990. She is a busy business owner and landlord who holds degrees in Art and English. She has served many nonprofit organizations including Young Children First and the American Medical Association Foundation. Involved with Highfield Hall & Gardens since its inception, Marilyn is now on her second leg of trusteeship having previously served a 9 year term.

Robert Goldsborough III
Falmouth, MA
Rob is an engineer who has spent his career working in ocean science for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as well as the Air Force Geophysics Lab. Most recently, he retired from WHOI’s Applied Ocean Physics and Engineering department where he developed instrumentation and underwater vehicles. Rob is married to Salley Mavor, a nationally known artist and illustrator of children’s books.  Rob has served on the boards of the Waldorf School of Cape Cod and the Woods Hole Public Library.

Lynne Goslee
West Falmouth, MA
Lynne is a graduate of Hiram College in Ohio. Lynne taught home economics to high school students before taking design classes at the New England School of Art and Design. In 1981, Lynne began an interior design business, Room for Change, which she continues to keep her busy with both residential and commercial clients. Lynne is active in the Falmouth Congregational Church and has been involved in the renovation of Emerson House in West Falmouth.

Barbara Woll Jones
Falmouth, MA
Barbara is a graduate of the Cornell University College of Architecture and spent more than forty years as a designer and builder employed primarily with residential design. Much of her life has been devoted to nonprofit causes including more than twenty years spent as a trustee of Falmouth Academy. A member of the Marine Biological Laboratory Board of Overseers and the MBL Associates, Barbara served on the committee to raise funds to endow the Falmouth Forum. She is also an active member of the Cape Cod Theatre Project. Additionally, Barbara has been involved with the Princeton University Associates, the Quissett Harbor House Land Trust, and the Quissett Yacht Club.

Charles Klotz (Chuck)
Wellesley and Falmouth, MA

Charles Klotz has served as Chairman and Chief Executive of various private and public companies, principally in Europe, controlled by Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay including a long period heading the Gotaas-Larsen Shipping Corporation which owned and operated tanker and LNG fleets worldwide.  Before 1985 he was in corporate banking in Boston and London with Bank of Boston.  Mr. Klotz earned a BS degree at Trinity College and an MBA at Dartmouth College.  He was a Wellesley Country Club Board member for seven years and President for two.  He is a member of the Trinity College National Alumni Association Executive Committee, the Woods Hole Golf Club Board, the Board of Overseers of Newton Wellesley Hospital and a Corporation member of Partners Healthcare.  He and his wife, Debby, live in Wellesley and West Falmouth.

Joel Nimar
Concord and Falmouth, MA
Joel Nimar is President and Co-Founder of Pyramid Technology Services, a global computer hardware and services firm. He has also ventured into the green economy with the Texan-based corporation ALR, a company which strives to make houses more energy efficient. Joel  has served as the Vice President of the Open Table Food Pantry and is a volunteer with Be the Change, Concord Youth Theatre, and numerous other organizations. Joel and his wife, Claudia, who split their time between Concord and Falmouth, are both active with their neighborhood association, the Moors.

Dana Rodin
Boston and Quissett, MA
Dana Rodin is an attorney and litigation partner at the Boston law firm of Goulston & Storrs, P.C., concentrating in the real estate and construction areas.  He has long standing ties to the Village of Quissett where he is active as the President of The Quissett Harbor House Land Trust and as a volunteer on the adjacent Knob property of Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries.  He also serves on the boards of Quissett Harbor Preservation Trust and the Oyster Pond Environmental Trust.

Sandra Smith
Falmouth, MA
Sandy has a degree in Business Administration and worked for Capital Research, a mutual fund management company in Los Angeles before moving to Washington, D.C.  Married to Paul Smith, Sandy has helped manage his law practice for many years, both in D.C. and in Falmouth, while also serving many nonprofit organizations. She has been an active volunteer for Cape Cod Healthcare, Community Health Center, and the Cape Cod Conservatory and has exhibited a special affinity and expertise for leading successful fundraising events.
