Visitor Services Expert

The Visitor Services Expert will be a leader providing optimum performance of the visitor services staff. You will be responsible for directing the admissions process and point of sales system operation. You will lead the visitor services team including volunteers in providing excellent customer service management. You will provide a seamless operation of the guest experience both prior to the visit and while at the Museum. This is a part‐time, exempt position. The position is perfect for someone looking for part time work – during the months of April – December. Flexible schedule – weekends and nights. A perfect position for someone looking for experience working in a dynamic non‐profit environment, and making the community a better place. You will take a key role in site safety and emergency management. This also includes overseeing all public facing aspects of our site to ensure that staff, exhibitions, services and facilities are consistently of high standard.

Facilities Services Leader

The Facilities Services Leader must combine a thoughtful, service-oriented, and detail-oriented approach to property maintenance. The candidate will have a sincere commitment to teamwork; and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels. They will be responsible for managing all maintenance based activities of both the buildings and grounds at Highfield Hall. They will ensure professional event preparations and work to create a seamless transition from day to day. The proper candidate will exhibit excellent customer service skills, have a good attention to detail and be able to work independently in an efficient and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves Highfield Hall & Gardens and will work hard to continue to preserve the building and the grounds.

Events and Facilities Assistant

The facilities assistant is responsible for the general maintenance of the building and grounds at Highfield Hall & Gardens. This position will provide support for all programs, exhibitions and events and may require working nights and weekends – when necessary with a variable schedule depending on season and events. This position is part time to full time and will report to both the Visitor Services Director and the Programs and Exhibitions Director. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves Highfield Hall & Gardens and will work hard to continue to preserve the building and the grounds.

Director of Marketing and Communications

Highfield Hall & Gardens is an historic estate and vibrant cultural center.  It is located in Falmouth, MA on culturally rich Cape Cod, with easy access to all the amenities of the cities of Boston, MA and Providence, RI.  Highfield Hall & Gardens is a non-profit, committed to providing world class cultural and educational experiences using a diverse, inclusive staff.

The Director of Marketing (DOM) will report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with the Director of Programs and Exhibitions, and the Director of Development.  The DOM will create and execute an annual operating plan to increase regional awareness of the organization, support its brand, cultivate donors, members and sponsors, and promote the organization’s many events and classes.  Doing this successfully requires working collaboratively with the entire staff and Board of Directors, and active management of the many vendors and marketing channels employed by the organization.  This work requires vision, leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituencies both internally and externally.

This is a new position at Highfield Hall & Gardens and brings with it exciting possibilities and challenges due to the organization’s recent rapid growth.  The new Director of Marketing will have the opportunity to position this young cultural organization as a new regional leader in innovative programming.

This position encompasses three main responsibilities: Strategic Planning, External Communications, and Execution of Marketing Deliverables.
