An event every day that begins at 4:00pm, repeating indefinitely
A violinist praised as playing “gorgeously and with gracefulness and easy rapport” (The Boston Globe,) Emily Daggett Smith is emerging as one of the most compelling artists of her generation. Her recital and chamber music performances have taken her across the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. Her collaborator, Russian pianist Constantine Finehouse, attended New England Conservatory, the Juilliard School and Yale University. Finehouse has performed extensively in the US (including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and Washington, D. C.) and abroad, including in Lausanne, London, Odessa, St. Petersburg and Trieste. His most recent recording, Backwards Glance, interweaves the music of Johannes Brahms and Richard Beaudoin.
