Farm to Table: It’s the Berries! with PJ Hamel

Another summer of “Buy Local, Eat Local” and we will give you many ways to “Cook Local.”  Vendors from local markets and farms will supply the ingredients and we will work with these high quality products in order to help you put the best tasting and freshest dishes on your table at home. Some local artisans and experts will join the classes to promote their products and answer any questions you might have. Recipes and tastes are provided.

Local strawberries may be gone, but all the other berries are available for the picking. Who better than PJ Hamel, who writes a blog and develops recipes for the King Arthur Flour Company, to show us how to put them to good use. Worried about pie crust? PJ will demonstrate a variety of techniques and answer any questions you may have.
