Farm to Table: Never Say No to an August Tomato

Another summer of “Buy Local, Eat Local” and we will give you many ways to “Cook Local.”  Vendors from local markets and farms will supply the ingredients and we will work with these high quality products in order to help you put the best tasting and freshest dishes on your table at home. Some local artisans and experts will join the classes to promote their products and answer any questions you might have. Recipes and tastes are provided.

Summer bounty on Cape Cod would not be as glorious as it is without fresh, garden ripe tomatoes. Let’s talk about all the heirloom varieties and sample them in various dishes, including Tomato Tart Tatin, Antipasto Chopped Salad, and Roasted Tomato Vinaigrette.
