Visitor Services Administrative Assistant

The Visitor Services Administrative Assistant insures visitors have a positive experience at Highfield Hall and Gardens.  The individual regularly interacts with the public, takes the initiative to resolve real time visitor concerns and needs, electronically processes visitor requests (e.g. ticket sales, memberships, merchandise purchases, etc.) and maintains internal visitor reporting systems.  He/she works closely with the Program, Development and Marketing Directors, to insure visitor information is readily available and feedback recorded.  The individual must be outgoing with excellent Office Suite skills and preferably database experience.  This five day/week position (Tuesday-Saturday) from April through November is eligible for employee benefits.  Compensation commensurate with experience.

Weekend Facilities Assistant

The Weekend Facilities Assistant is responsible for the timely set-up and breakdown of events during weekends from mid-April through mid- December.  Responsibilities include setting up chairs, staging, screens and other event equipment, as well as light janitorial services as necessary.  The individual must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.  The work hours are flexible, and could include evenings and early mornings.  Total hours are estimated to average about 6 hours/weekend for 30 weekends.  The individual must be reliable with an attention to detail.
