Join us this year for the return of the Holidays at Highfield…

Season of Joy!

Our 15th Annual Holiday exhibition will be open from November 26th, 2021 and running through December 12th, 2021.

This annual event has been a staple local tradition for many years, and this winter season is no exception. Although existing safety and health protocols will be in place, Highfield will offer the public an outdoor and indoor holiday- themed experience to remember.

*VISITORS ARE REQUIRED TO PRE-REGISTER AHEAD OF TIME*

Each day will be split into 3 blocks of two hours each. Attendance for each block of time per day is limited to comply with Massachusetts state guidelines. Click button below for available dates to register for a block of time.

Check out our Schedule of Programs & Activities for holiday related attractions. (*Schedule is subject to change)

Inspired by the theme Season of Joy, event stylist Rita Pacheco returns to lead the holiday transformation of Highfield Hall by masterfully blending old world charm with contemporary elements! The Holidays are set for another year of spectacular decorating, seasonal activities, displays and Santa is expected to set up residence on specific days.

Returning this year will be a special outdoor holiday “village” to be installed in and around the Patrick Dougherty Stickwork sculpture, A Passing Fancy, before it leaves the grounds. If you love the fairy houses, you will love the woodland vignettes!

Music will once again fill the house with classical guitar, harp, and piano performances by faculty and students of the Cape Symphony and more friends of Highfield. The 19th century comes alive with the return of the Victorian clad carolers singing from a distance and entertaining visitors to the winter woodland village.

National award-winning Storyteller Jackson Gilman returns to Highfield Hall where he will perform safely and outside against the backdrop of Stickworks and the outdoor holiday “village”.

There are plenty of ways to get warm indoors with a variety of drop-in arts and crafts from an assortment of materials that are guaranteed to get you feeling festive and joyful.

The Gift Gallery will once again be alive with artisan gifts for all ages.  Come on in and complete your Holiday shopping at Highfield Hall & Gardens.

New holiday related attractions may be added or updated, mark your calendar and please be sure to check out our Schedule of Programs & Activities. (*Schedule is subject to change)
