Charyl Weissbach, Boston painter and one of the four artists exhibiting in SeaChange, will lead an in-depth tour discussing her work and the work of artists, Donna Talman, Pat Gerkin, and Debra Claffey.

Charyl will focus on selected works chosen by each artist. Join the tour and learn how each artist addresses conservation and environmental concerns, and the reason for forming ‘Elemental Collective’. Each artist employs encaustic, a method of painting with hot wax, with results as vast and beautiful as their process and materials are diverse. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers during this gathering on the second floor.

SeaChange: Meditations on Sustainability, is currently on view on the first and second floor galleries through October 30, 2021.

Charyl Weissbach received a BFA in painting and the history of art from Massachusetts College of Art & Design. Her studio is in Boston’s SoWa Artist’s District.
