Highfield Hall & Gardens kicks off the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival. Joan Harrison, author of Hydrangeas: Cape Cod and the Islands, will be offering a lecture on hydrangeas on Cape Cod as well as a book signing; Barbara Conolly will present a talk about how to grow hydrangeas and Terry Soares will introduce the newest hydrangea varieties.

Throughout the event: Prides Corner hydrangeas, including new varieties, will be available for purchase; members of  the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod will be painting en plein aire; Falmouth Garden Club  arrangements will be on display throughout the mansion; new hydrangea varieties will be on display around the gardens; light refreshments will be available.
