Kick off Pride month and learn about PFLAG on their 50th anniversary. Joe Lima, President of PFLAG Cape Cod since
2019, will talk about PFLAG, its history, mission, and vision.

Originally an acronym for “Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays”, PFLAG now encompasses even more as the largest organization in the US for parents, families, and allies to provide support and resources as well as education and advocacy. The local PFLAG chapter is active up and down the Cape, providing valuable resources, offering a supportive community, hosting a podcast, and awarding scholarships to high school seniors who have been advocates for equality.

Whether you’re already involved in LGBTQ+ matters or want to learn more, please join us for this presentation to celebrate our community. As Joe  says: “We welcome anyone and everyone who would like to be a part of our community.”
