Sign up now: August 6 – 10 for a week long drop off program with Sally Egan. Children will learn some passages of Shakespeare by heart as they roam the woods and gardens of Highfield gathering nature’s treasures for props and costumes. They will paint scenery, create costumes and playbills and have a play ready to perform on Friday at pick up!

“The Bard, suffering from writer’s block, seeks his muse in the nature. Brainstorming turns into a magical nap, where Fairies visit him and fill his dreams with mischievous and magical ideas..featuring some of Shakespeare’s best beloved Fairies: Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth and Mustardseed. Titania, Oberon and Puck, join in as well, to re-inspire the Bard by fanning the moonbeams from his sleeping eyes.” – Sally Egan

This program is appropriate for children ages 5 – 9 years.
