Since 2007, Duo Musagète has been thrilling audiences around the United States with their innovative programming and novel approach to the concert experience. Guitarist Jerome Mouffe and flutist Benjamin Smolen, themselves established soloists, founded Duo Musagète while studying with Eliot Fisk and Paula Robison at New England Conservatory. Jerome Mouffe is currently on the staff of the New England Conservatory. They continue to expand the boundaries of the flute and guitar repertoire through their innovative transcription work, and collaboration with contemporary composers. Their debut album, Bach to Beaser, was released in April 2015.
