Making pasta at home is surprisingly easy—with or without machines. We will explore a variety of ways to produce some enticing spring pasta dishes: asparagus ricotta ravioli with a simple creamy tomato sauce, sage golden butter sauce over fettuccine, tagliatelle with spring vegetables (pasta primavera), and farfalle with a simple carrot sauce. We will also make (and taste!) the classic Marcella Hazan three-ingredient tomato sauce, which you should find very useful for spur of the moment dinners. Join us in the kitchen for a fun afternoon class—this is a demo class, but there will be some hands-on work for those who want to get floury!
