Highfield celebrates the arrival of fall on September 20th from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm. The event includes receptions for two art exhibitions, each with a literary theme: Common Threads featuring the work of eight artists who work out of the Old Schoolhouse in Barnstable and the War and Peace Project. From 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm, War and Peace Project artists will hold a free art workshop and at 2:30 pm there will be a poetry reading with Alice Kochimeba and selected Common Threads poets. Admission is free and all are welcome.
