Farm to Table: Lettuce inspire you!

Another summer of “Buy Local, Eat Local” and we will give you many ways to “Cook Local.” Vendors from local markets and farms will supply the ingredients and we will work with these high quality products in order to help you put the best tasting and freshest dishes on your table at home. Some local artisans and experts will join the classes to promote their products and answer any questions you might have. Recipes and tastes are provided.
This class will include, depending on availability recipes with early greens including lettuce, chard, sugar snap peas and green garlic. We will experiment with “The Greenest Green Salad”, an Herb and Chickpea Chopped Salad with goat cheese, and a Salad Bowl with Black Rice and Lemon-Chive Dressing.
