Another summer of “Buy Local, Eat Local” and we will give you lots of ways to “Cook Local.”

Rooster Fricke will join us in the Highfield kitchen to prove that you can indeed grow chili peppers by the sea on Cape Cod.  At his farm in the village of Woods Hole, he grows over fifty varieties of chili peppers from mild to wild.  They are extremely popular with regional chefs and an increasing number of local restaurants.  The Fricke’s turn them into flavorful sauces, jelly and chocolate. We will combine them in a variety of new recipes that are guaranteed to please the most discriminating of chili enthusiasts.
