See how Stephen Sondheim utilizes different musical devices to showcase the progression of time, culture, and character within his musical Pacific Overtures.
Join us for the 3rd installment in this series featuring Miles Plant. This is his fifth summer with CLOC and he is overjoyed to be participating in its digital incarnation. He has been seen traveling the United States as Music Director of the first national tour of Bandstand and as Associate Conductor of the national tour of The Sound of Music. He holds degrees in Music History, Music Theory, and Piano Performance from the University Wisconsin – Eau Claire, as well as a Master’s from Arizona State University in Music Direction for Musical Theatre and Opera.
Highfield Hall & Gardens and the College Light Opera Company, partners and neighbors, are pleased to present this unforgettable talk. Lectures will touch on themes from the CLOC season but whether you are a CLOC regular or not, you won’t want to miss this unique opportunity!
