Join us every Tuesday for our Highfield On The CLOC series where we hear from professionals in the entertainment field as they discuss exciting topics in the world of showbiz!

This week will be a discussion of Rodgers and Hammerstein; The Sound of Their Mucis and Lyrics featuring well-known critic and author, Peter Filichia. Following the lecture will be a live Q&A over Zoom with Peter.

Peter Filichia has written about theater for a daily newspaper (The Star-Ledger), a magazine (TheaterWeek), and the Internet (Playbill, Theatermania, Music Theatre International, Broadway Select, and Masterworks Broadway). He has penned several books on this subject matter. Since 1995, he has been critic-in-residence for the Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music; and the musical theater assessor for ASCAP’s annual awards. Peter has authored several off-Broadway events.

Highfield Hall & Gardens and the College Light Opera Company, partners and neighbors, are pleased to present this unforgettable talk. Lectures will touch on themes from the CLOC season but whether you are a CLOC regular or not, you won’t want to miss this unique opportunity!

Admission is FREE

Participants will be provided the FaceBook streaming link for the pre-recorded lecture, and a separate Zoom link to participate in the optional Q&A session with Peter immediately following the lecture.
