Gretchen Warren’s presentation will focus on the remarkable history of the famous rambler rose varieties developed by Michael Walsh in Woods Hole a century ago. Her talk will include historic photographs of the famed rose garden on the Fay estate in Woods Hole, where Walsh was Head Gardener at the turn of the 20^th century. Ms. Warren will distribute maps for a self-guided tour of Walsh rambler roses still growing around the Woods Hole village.
