Join John Murelle, with Chris Morris on piano, for a lively program of songs and stories highlighting the dynamic musical duo that created dozens of classic hits throughout the 1920’s and 1930’s, George and Ira Gershwin.

Along with an engaging visual images singer, John Murelle and pianist Chris Morris will share the excitement that George and Ira generated with their music both on Broadway and in Hollywood.

Baritone John Murelle is a versatile singer and voice instructor with a wide range of musical interests, including art song, opera and oratorio, Broadway and popular songs. He holds Vocal Performance degrees from the University of Michigan and the Boston Conservatory, and a Diploma from the Boston University Opera Institute. John has maintained an active private voice studio in East Sandwich for over 20 years.

Chris Morris is the winner of the Carol Nott Piano Pedagogy Prize, Faculty at the Cape Symphony and the Academy of Performing Arts, and Music Director at Brewster Baptist Church. He holds a B.M. and M.M. from Oberlin Conservatory.
