Celebrate the Wampanoag Herring Run and New Year Festival
Kitty Hendricks Miller, Wampanoag Indian Education Coordinator, and Dale Oakley, Wampanoag Natural Resources, will present: Wampanoag Spring Traditions. Join us to celebrate the Spring Herring Run!
The New Year is actually celebrated in the spring, with all new beings, coinciding with the Herring Run. Come celebrate the first sign of tree buds, the return of the herring and the end of the long winter! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Herring Run Restoration.
