The Woods Hole Cantata Consort Board of Trustees joins Highfield Hall & Gardens in welcoming members of the Cape Community to a meet and greet musicale with Margaret Bossi and friends at Highfield Hall. Pianist Lucy Banner, violinist Carla Kihlstedt, oboist Elisabeth Doriss and soprano Joan Kirchner will provide a short musical entertainment for guests, followed by a conversation with Mrs. Bossi, the Consort’s new Music Director, about plans for this summer and beyond.

The musicale is intended to showcase some of the exceptional talent to be heard from the Consort in August, and to preview some of the composers.  Ms. Kirchner will sing some lovely Shubert lieder, and  guests will hear the slow movement from Bach’s Double Concerto for Oboe and Piano in addition to a few musical bonbons. Light refreshments will be available. There is no charge for this event, but reservations are required.
