Join us every Tuesday for our Highfield On The CLOC series where we hear from professionals in the entertainment field as they discuss exciting topics in the world of showbiz!
Having conducted over 60 productions with the College Light Opera Company, CLOC favorite Elizabeth Hastings is back to talk about the factors involved in choosing a show to produce. We’ll be learning all about how to ensure that the show you choose is a practical one, and the challenges involved in getting that show on the boards.
A well-known figure with New York’s operetta scene, groups, she has had frequent occasions to work with both the Light Opera of New York (LOONY) and the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players (NYGASP). She has performed many times at Carnegie Hall as a continuo player, and also performed with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra in their first operatic venture. She has conducted over 60 productions in 25 summers at CLOC!
Highfield Hall & Gardens and the College Light Opera Company, partners and neighbors, are pleased to present this unforgettable talk. Lectures will touch on themes from the CLOC season but whether you are a CLOC regular or not, you won’t want to miss this unique opportunity!
