Join artist and elementary art educator, Elyse Kotakis, for a fun summer workshop! Young artists will explore the stunning works on view in the gallery as part of the exhibition, “Turning Cut Paper into Art” before returning to the studio to create their own masterpiece. Using inspiration and observations gleaned during their experience in the gallery, students will design a unique cut paper work of art. Students will think critically, build skill, get creative and have fun. What a wonderful way to kick off summer and savor the final days of this exhibit!
Program appropriate for children ages 5 – 10.
This program has been made possible by a generous grant from the Woods Hole Foundation
