In this fun, hands-on children’s program inspired by the Katharine Lee Bates exhibit at Highfield, kids will mix and create their own patriotic playdough in red, white, and blue, then shape stars with cookie cutters, roll festive beads, and design their own imaginative creations.

After crafting, we will explore the exhibit with a fun Eye Spy activity and enjoy Highfield’s outside StoryWalk®. Led by experienced educator Carol DiCristina, this playful program blends art, storytelling, and discovery—encouraging kids to learn, explore, and celebrate America’s history in a creative way.
