Stop by Highfield Hall & Gardens for a day full of fun activities for the whole family. The day begins with family fun from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm: a pottery demonstration, a yarn-o-rama, ice cream from Eulinda’s and craft activities with our summer program teachers. There will be a docent-led estate tour for adults at 12:30 pm. From 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm there will be artist receptions for the current exhibitions, Modern Wax and Collaborations in Clay, with music provided by the Village Quire.  The Open House will also mark the grand opening of Highfield’s signature outdoor environmental art show, Portals and Passageways, featuring the artwork of 24 regional artists, and the Technicolor Dream Tree project with work by dozens of local fiber artists.  At 3:00 pm, Highfield Music Director Robert Wyatt wraps up the afternoon with his favorite summer songs. The event is free and open to all.  $5 donation requested for each Portals and Passageways guide book.
