HH&G presents History At PlayTM, LLC’s One-Woman Performance Revealing the Tantalizing Secrets of the 19th Century’s Most Notable Authors

HAP, LLC Founder and Artistic Director Judith Kalaora is the Boston author, philanthropist, and original Gossip Girl as she dishes on the lives of her closest literary friends from Nathaniel Hawthorne to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow!

Mrs. Fields has incredible influence on literary decisions at Ticknor and Fields Publishing House and a great ear for gossip!  Counting Nathaniel Hawthorne, Oliver Wendell Holmes, and Harriet Beecher Stowe amongst her closest friends, she witnessed a great deal of Victorian revelry at her waterside museum in Beacon Hill. No short of a Gossip Girl, Mrs. Fields kept 13 years of journals about her famous friends and wrote about their most embarrassing moments in her novel Authors and Friends (1896). She shares them with you during an intimate teatime conversation. There will be laughter, disbelief and even some blushing cheeks, when you hear the tantalizing tales of the Victorian Gossip Girl!

This livestream production is approximately 60 minutes, followed by real-time audience Q&A. Suitable for ages 13 and up. HAP, LLC has garnered nationwide applause for their one-woman, living history performances, chronicling the lives of legendary women who changed society.
