America, Beautiful, and…

Juried Exhibition America, Beautiful, and...

MARCH 4th – MAY 30th

In celebration of America’s Semi-quincentennial, Highfield Hall & Gardens presents America, Beautiful, and…, a juried exhibition exploring the many ways America is lived, remembered, celebrated, questioned, and reimagined. The exhibition invites artists to consider not only what is beautiful about America, but also what comes after the “and.” Through a diverse range of perspectives and creative approaches, the works on view encourage reflection, conversation, and a deeper look at the American experience.

Lauren Wolk and Jackie Reeves, named the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s 2026 Artists of the Year, serve as jurors for this exhibition.

Lauren Wolk is a visual artist represented by the Larkin Gallery (Harwich Port and Provincetown, MA), New York Times bestselling author of several books for young readers, published poet, award-winning filmmaker, and, with Jackie Reeves, co-founder of The InkLine Project and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s 2026 Artist of the Year. She lives in Centerville, MA.
